[2.13] changing button color in bottom toolbar |
I finally got around to localizing this old bug. I did the following in a new session:
Create a new button
Move the toolbar containing the button to the bottom
Type some text in the command line, but do not hit enter
In the package editor, change the color of the button, and save
The text in the command line disappears!
Type one more letter in the command line
The text reappears, with the new text appended
This only happens when the button is in the bottom toolbar position. The color change could also be done by a trigger. Using the right or left arrow keys in the command window does NOT bring the text back, but using up and down to go through command history does. |

This sounds like a bug that was reported a few versions back.. but of course I can't find the link (and it's time to head to the office.)
The bug is a bit more generic. Any modification to the button properties causes the command line to disappear. I never checked to see if it only applied when docked to the bottom.
If someone finds it please post it. |

Yes, I think this bug is related, but this might be a better way to reproduce it. So I've added it to the bug list again.
