Logging

Is there a char max to logging? I started a log and after closing it I lost half of the beginning. I'm still unfamiliar with logging so please bare with me.
Maybe closing it doesn't save?
Any help appreciated. |

The log's created line-by-line from when you type the #log command. There's no character limit (before I started automated per-day logs, I had a log file that was about 30mb!). So yeah, did you type #log halfway through what you wanted to log?
