[2.11] When Package Library Filter Builder is open, CMUD is not in Alt-Tab list |
This has to be done just so.
1. Open CMUD.
2. Press Escape to close the Sessions window.
3. Click Library from the toolbar.
4. My list was empty so I pressed Get latest from library - I think you need something in the list.
5. Click View, Show filterbar.
6. Click Customize to open the Filter Builder.
7. Alt-tab to Firefox.
8. CMUD is no longer in the Alt-tab list and you have to click on it the taskbar to find it again (or minimize things).
Occasionally the Filter Builder will become Stay on top. Not sure why. Sometimes the Filter Builder will show up on Alt-tab. If it does go back to it with Alt-tab. And then alt-tab back to Firefox. It will have gone now.
Also the Filter Builder is modal - you can't get back to CMUD main window while it is open. I can understand why you shouldn't be able to get back into the Package Library, but not being able to get back to the command line could be annoying. |

Unfortunately, there is very little I can do about this one. The "Filter Builder" is an integrated feature of the Developer Express Grid/Tree database components. They just display a list of all fields in the database and let you make custom queries. This is all their code and I really don't want to mess with it, at least until I have updated it with Delphi 2007 later. My decision was to leave this feature enabled for power users who wanted to mess with custom filters. My only other choice is to disable it completely.
