Gauge graphical update problem

Hi.

I've been "experimenting" a bit with the gauge in Cmud (I like it a lot), and I ran into a little strange problem.
The thing is, since the mud I play on has no real prompt with hp's and mana and that sort of thing (you get a textual message if you write 'hp' -> "You are feeling very well." And so on. So I had to rely on triggers to adjust the @hp and @mana variables.
So, I got 2 gauges: Health and Mana. Each of them use their respective variables, and the same is set to value. Also, after checking the various feedback levels (I found 11 different messages for each) I set the maxValue to 11 and the minValue to 1. And made triggers for each verbose 'hp' and 'mana' message.

The trouble is, sometimes the Mana gauge doesn't update. I checked the variable and noticed it had the correct value, but the gauge still had not updated itself.
I'm not sure if this is the cause: I moved all the triggers to a separate package but left the variables and gauges in the "main" package of the character.
If I do a '#var mana 11' the gauge updates to full. Even though the variable already had 11 in it (typing 'hp' doesnt update it if it is stuck).

Did I do something wrong or is there a bug with the gauges?

There was a bug in the 1.34 version of CMUD dealing with gauge updates. It is already fixed in the latest 2.09 Beta version if you want to experiment with that (but it is still in Beta Testing status and still has some other bugs).

Ah, that would explain it.
I'm using 1.34 at the moment. Waiting for the next public version. wink wink nudge nudge Wink
