Why is this happening? |

Zaphar Promenade.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. A runic totem is planted solidly in the ground.
You see exits leading east, south, and northwest.

This has happened a few times now. This would cause me problems with certain lines for cures are afflictions doing that and my triggers not picking them up because they are stuck on the end of the prompt. |

You are probably still sending text (either directly or through a trigger) so that it throws the rest of you prompt detection. But really without more information like what you were doing when it happened speedwalking etc., it will be hard to debug.

oldguy, that is a problem with IRE and how it sends information. Usually happens when you send commands (especially movement) slightly too fast or there is some lag. I think people have attempted to find a way to prevent it but I haven't seen a perfect cure all.

Well it never did that to me in 1.34, but in 2.10 it does it all the time. You are exactly right too. It happens more when you send movement commands in rapid succession to move a few rooms. It also happens during other times too. For instance, the last time it happened I simply checked my defenses and entered to put up insomnia. The line showing I put insomnia up appended to the end of the prompt. That's a problem because the trigger to capture that the defense is now up never fired due to this.

I had the same problem. I had to go through my triggers and take out the start of line anchor as well as make a few other modifications for illusion checking and such. But then anytime I actually went into combat the whole thing locked up on me so I had to go back to 1.34 anyway. |

If you get rapid lines of text coming in does it lock up Cmud on you?

I'd guess it's a problem in Achaea. I just tested in Aetolia (while running 2.10)

If that's not sending directions quickly, I'm not really sure what is. >.> |

With 2.10, yep. I start getting a lot of errors regarding access violations and the whole thing then locks up on me. Usually resulting in my messy death. It has something to do with my system I suppose but I built the system from scratch with 1.34 and it works fine there and I'm just not up to building another from scratch for 2.10. It's depressing as I can't really report a bug because I've no clue what's locking it up. Generally seems to be something to do with list variables but who knows. |
