#sub with new lines

using 1.34, I can't seem to get #sub to work with new lines, example of code is:

#tr {test} {#sub {test123%{cr}%{cr}}}

when doing #show test, i get

test123
test123
test123
test123
instead of having 2 spaces after each one

This is working fine for me in CMUD 2.09 - you could upgrade to the beta now if you're willing to risk encountering potentially serious bugs, or wait for the 2.x public version (which will hopefully be out soon!).

2.09 might even be more stable now than 1.34, so I'd encourage you to try installing it in a separate folder (including the data) and see how it works for you. Then report any bugs in the Beta forum (check one or two of Vigilante's for good examples).

Or maybe wait until 2.10 is out for more serious mudding as that does actually fix some serious bugs and sounds like it is going to be even more stable. Smile Zugg hasn't said when it will be out, but I'm guessing the end of the week, since that's been the form recently.

Keep in mind that you must always make a backup of your 1.34 files when upgrading to the Beta. Even if you install the Beta to a different folder, it uses the same DataDir registry entry as 1.34 to determine where your data files are, so this can cause problems if you try to use both versions at the same time on the same system.
