cMUD Pro 2.07 Tick Timers

Im sure i have seen this here somewhere before, about an earlier version of cMUD.

But since updating to version 2.07 of cMUD pro my tick timers have ceased working.

I have a tick timer for one of my muds that sends "save" every 999 seconds, since i updated this has been stuck at 632, and not moved..... i have tried deleting the tick timer and re-creating it to no avail.

Im 99.999% certain it worked on 2.06.

Anyone have any ideas as to how i can get the timer to start counting down?

-Tijer

PS: I hope i havent been too vague here, please let me know if i have!

PPS: On looking at this again it appears to have only stopped working on the session i made it for... There is also no time online (which is usually at the bottom) also

I think Zugg turns off part of the timer routine during testing. He likely just forgot to turn it back on before releasing 2.07. You will notice the clock also never updates. The same thing happened when 2.06 first was released, but it got caught quickly and Zugg turned it back on and made a second 2.06 release. You will just have to use an alarm instead, they operate on thier own timer routines.

Hmm, no, v2.07 has the timer and clock enabled. The clock on my window *is* updating.

I can do this in 2.07 without any problem:

1) Run CMUD and press ESC to close the session window
2) Type:
#TIMER 10
3) Watch the timer count down in the status bar.

So, check your Timer preferences (right click on the timer and select Properties) and make sure the timer is enabled.

Actually i found the cause of Tick timers and time online stopping...

Having 2 of the same session open at the same time.. and closing one, stops the timers.

Also would send an error on closing one of them about Invalid Record or somesuch message, if i get the message again ill post an update.

OK, make sure you upgrade to v2.08 since v2.07 had some serious problems.
