You have just won an award! Your award has something to do with somewhat happening sometime. You will receive a certificate of award as soon as we find it. Right now we have no clue about how the certificate got lost. Of course the award will follow the certificate, although we aren't sure about why you would be getting either. Oh yeah, thats it. The award is for most vague bug report in the recent fuzzy past.

Can you provide any more details? Perhaps look at a few of my bug report posts for an idea about how to better report problems. Also take a moment to laugh at the first paragraph of my response. If you can't laugh at it then laugh at me because that is about as good as my humor gets, I know it is pathetic.

How many sessions did you have open?
Does this problem always occur after opening a particular session?
Do you frequently close and reopen sessions? There are known bugs involving the closing of sessions.

I am sure others will come up with more question needed to make this into a useful bug report, but right now there is nothing anyone can do to help track this down into something Zugg can use to fix the bug.

Basically there is just no chance that Zugg would find the bug based on what you wrote in your original post.

Are these telnet sessions or ssh sessions? How many of each? Are you opening any of these sessions more than once? In other words, are you trying to have several instances of the same session open at the same time?

And the subject of your post should have been something like:
[2.06Pro] Can't open session
Or something even more useful after you had narrowed down the bug a little, e.g.
[2.06Pro] Can't open session when XXX
The version should be included in the subject, but not be the whole subject! This is so that we can see which thread relates to which bug, which discussion and which version. Thanks! Wink

Sorry about the vagueness in the post i made yesterday, was just seeing if anyone else had, had similar issues to what i had.

Just downloaded 2.07, and the bug still appears to be in there, doesnt seem to like to have more than 4 sessions open at a time.....

You're still being vague. So when you say 'doesnt seem to like to have more than 4 sessions open at a time' what exactly do you mean.

E.g.

How do you know that CMUD doesn't want to open more sessions...
Do you get an error message when you try to open a session. If not then what happens exactly?
Are they 4 different sessions or 4 of the same session?

What happens if you make a new, empty session and then try opening multiple copies of that?

Unfortunately what you've given us so far isn't anything to go on. I opened 14 of the same (albeit it empty) sessions without a problem, so you'll need to be more specific to help Zugg try and pinpoint any bugs. Can you reproduce the bug? If so then could you give instructions how so that someone else can try to confirm it.
