[2.06] Window Focus |
When I have my mapper window open and undocked (on my other monitor).
And open a help file with #HELP
The close the help file.. Instead of fucus returning to the Main window, it goes to the Mapper window. |

That's a Windows issue. When you close a window, it switches to the last window that had the keyboard focus. Not something I can do much about.

Thats my whole point though, if I enter the the #HELP command from the command line, then the main window WAS the last one to have focus.

Confirmed (focus is fine when the mapper is docked though - it returns to the command line).

OK, I found some issues with this that should be fixed in v2.07.

This issue is now happening with the settings editor and the find window (ctrl f) in 2.09.

We're on 2.10. Do try and keep up 007.
I tried it on 2.10 and it seemed OK to me, so if you think there's a problem, maybe describe it in more detail. |

This is happening in 2.10 for me as well.
1. Open CMUD
2. Escape for a blank setting.
3. Click map button to open mapper.
4. Click and drag map by the title bar to undock it.
5a. Click settings button to open settings editor.
6a. Hit escape to close settings editor.
5b. Hit CTRL+F to open the find window.
6b. Click cancel to close find window.
7. Undocked mapper window now has focus instead of the command line. |

But why command line must get focus at your step 7? The mapper window was the topmost before you opened the editor or find window, that's why it has focus after 6a or 6b.
Another thing that if after your step 4 you click within the main window to give the focus to cmd line and then proceed with 5a) or 5b), then yes - after step 7 the mapper will get focus instead of command line.
Btw, automapper option "Show icon in taskbar" not works. |

But it wasnt top most, technically i have my mapper window on another monitor entirely, but the issue remains weather they are in the same monitor or not.
The command line (aka main window) had focus before doing anything. I forgot to mention clicking in the main window after step 4. |
