Recovering your saved password from zmud |
Hello,
I cannot remember how to recover my saved password from zmud. I want to log my character on my laptop but cannot remember the pw. It is saved on my zmud on my desktop. Could anyone fill me in on how to have it displayed when it is entered? I did this before a long time ago. |

#say %password, but you need to disable the "Do Not Display Password" preference, or zMUD will gag it.

Oh, how silly of me - it's %pass, not %password.
EDIT: Or maybe it's %pw? |

It appears that this is an undocumented feature in Zmud.
Go to Preferences->Script Parser->General Parsing and Uncheck Gag password.
Then paste this into the command line and hit enter.
Code: |
#show This is my password: %pass |
After you have your password then it would be a good idea to turn back on the gag thing. |
