Zmud not downloading sounds

I work as an admin on a mud. As, over the years, I've heard pretty much all the sounds the mud has to offer, I have them turned off most of the time. Recently I went to turn them back on. When I did, I checked all my preferences to make sure they were all set correctly. After this I turned on the sound option on the mud and started making some noise on the mud. I heard nothing. I checked the preferences again. They sounds were listed but were red. I checked the DL site for the sounds. The sounds are all there but it won't give a list of the directory. I can force it to manually DL the sounds. Is it because it can't see a list of the directory that is stopping zmud from downloading the sounds automatically?
