[2.03] Bell column doesn't seem to work. |
I just noticed this feature so I may be using it wrong, but when I set it to, e.g., 20 for testing, and type more than twenty characters in the command line, it doesn't cause a bell.

It should only sound the bell when you hit the exact number (20 in your case). It doesn't keep sounding the bell when you exceed the number, just when you equal the number.

It doesn't do anything at the bell column, however. Not with a paste and not with single keypresses.

Exactly, I mean I started out at zero characters and typed to more than twenty and in all that time, no bell.
