Question Regarding Documentation |
I just have a quick question regarding documentation. In order to test the full functionality of all the new features, are we going to get new help files soon that show all of the new commands? For instance, the correct use of #section, #waitfor, and so on? I'm simply asking because it would be of great use to fully understand everything that has been added, and, therefore, be able to test if it is working to it's full potential. I suppose searching through all the threads for references is an option, but it would be nice if I had some detailed documentation to work with.
Thanks. |

Of course it'll come - it just takes time, and lots of it. There's a limited amount that people who aren't Zugg can do when it comes to new documentation :(

Also, it is worth checking the Reference - you sometimes find Zugg has documented it there (if you know what the command is), before adding it to the Manual.

The quick reference panel (press the F1 key or select the Reference flyout) will *always* have the complete set of commands and functions because it uses the same database that CMUD uses to parse the commands.
The full help for each new command and function will come over time. In general, I document these things before a Public Release, but not during the initial couple of beta releases. As Fang mentioned, I have limited time and early in the beta testing my time is better spent fixing bugs. |

Ah ha! I guess it might help if I checked that pane then. I closed them all so they would quit flying out at the wrong time. Sorry for the trouble.

You can also get to the Reference window from the Window menu.
