In the editor I get an error saying it can't focus a disabled or invisible windo

When I open the editor with CTRL+SHIFT and ENTER, and then right click on its bar and click Customize to edit the buttons, I keep getting an error message popping up continuously saying it can't "focus a disabled or invisible window" - it does not stop popping up after I click Continue until I close the customize toolbar window, and then it comes up with 2 access violations before shutting up - I cannot remove icons from the toolbar because of this
