More than 1 instance of zmud?

I have zmud open for my main character, but I am now trying to run zmud again so I have two instances of Zmud running, and so I can run 2 characters at one.

However, when I double click the zmud icon to open the second instance, the original instance just pops back to the front, without another instance opening. Is this normal, is there a trick to getting another instance open?

Zmud is limited to only 1 running at a time, with Cmud you can open multiple instances though

You can open two characters at once inside one instance of zMUD though. Once you've connected to one character normally, click the Chars button on the far left of the toolbar to open the character select dialogue. Then just connect to the other character as well. If you're using two characters on the same MUD, just create a new icon that connects to the same MUD specifically for that character.
