Boot problem |
I purchased Zmud + Cmud about 3 hours ago and installed each of them. After loading up Cmud and playing with some settings, I restarted my computer. On reboot, after showing the bios screen, I get:
Invalid system disk
Replace the disk, and then press any key
I put in the Vista disk, same error. Checked boot order. Same error, no way to load up my computer.
System:
Windows Vista Ultimate
4 gig ram
dual core 2.4
320 gig hd
nvidia 8800 GTS 640mb ddr3 |

Cancel this problem. Solved. Evidently Vista changes boot orders between reboots.

You might want to look at what else is on your computer that may be causing this to happen at any rate, as I guarantee you Vista doesn't just randomly change boot orders between reboots. Perhaps installs of partition magic or some other software. Vista has never done anything like this with me, and I even run it on several systems, two of which have about half a dozen partitions and several operating systems.
