alias updates not saving?

I'm running a Vista laptop and trying to figure out how to correct my scripts to run my old Zmud files on CMud... some triggers just don't work.
In the mean time I'm still playing off Zmud, but I'm having trouble saving new aliases. I assume going to "settings / save" after adding an alias would in fact save the alias, however this doesn't seem to be working. Every time I shut down Zmud and re-open it, any aliases I added in the last session have been lost.
SO.. am I using the wrong save, is this a Vista issue, or am I doing something else wrong? Fully user error here, just looking to save my updates so I don't have to keep adding them every session ;)

It's most likely a Vista problem - by default, you won't have write access to the Program Files directory. You need to run zMUD as an admin so it can write your changes to the disk.
Also, if you make a thread in the CMUD forums about those triggers you're having problems with, I'm sure we can help you with that too. |
