CMud Mapper: Just get a blank blue screen

I'm using a fresh Windows XP install on a VMware virtual machine. I cannot get the mapper to work for the life of me. All I get is a blank blue-gradient screen.

Since this is a fresh install, and the only thing that I have put on here aside from Windows itself is CMUD, I'm wondering if it is a dependency issue where I simply don't have the right drivers install on my computer.

Any thoughts here? What other software is needed in order to get the mapper to work?

Thanks in advance.

This is a known bug in v 1.33... Zugg says he's working on it... look forward to the next version.

In the meantime, you might want to read http://forums.zuggsoft.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=26707

Zugg does provide a link to 1.26 in that post, which has a working mapper.

I had it working on 1.33 on XP before ... which was why I had figured that the problem wasn't CMUD.

Any indication on when the next version will be out?

Thanks again!

Ultimately it will be out when it comes out, but as far as hopeful tentative timeframes go his best-case scenario is mid-July and his expected (realistic?) worst-case scenario is late-July (obviously, the true worst-case would be much later or never, so this is assuming he knows he can get all the stuff done he wants to do but that it takes longer than expected to do it). His zExplorer work sort of came up out of the blue and suckerpunched his development schedule, so all his CMud/Affiliate/SSH client stuff he was expecting to have gotten done by now had to be postponed so he could have time to take advantage of the zExplorer development opportunity.

He's got some big (not necessarily happy) things coming up around then, so he's wanting to get us a new version out before those things hit and suck away his time.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope all of that goes well for him.

I hadn't realized that Zugg was so busy; I guess that I just thought that he had a team of developers working together on all of his projects. Well thanks for all of the hard work, then!

LOL Laughing Yeah, I wish...if anyone knows of any good Delphi programmers that will work for free, let me know. But seriously, yeah, it's just me doing programming and tech support, and Chiara doing customer support, and we work as hard as we can. Always lots of stuff to do, and never enough time.
