Command Line Text Box Gone and won't come back |
The text box on the session tool bar ("command line") normally found at the bottom of the screen has gone away.
I can edit the toolbar and drop other things into it or remove things from it (history, parsing icons, menu shortcuts, etc),
but I can't find where the actual text box for the command line is.
Any ideas? |

Right Click on the Mud Output window, Choose Window Option and then Show Command line. Alternatively, you can go to the Package Editor and select the window in question, then mark the checkbox next to Command Line.

Negative.
The "command line" is there. Just the text box that is supposed to be there isn't.
The trigger on/off button is there, the parser button is there. No text box.
If I go to edit the whole toolbar, I can add other stuff, just can't seem to find
how to add the command line text box back onto the thing. Or how it disappeared
in the first place as I couldn't manage to get rid of it in other sessions. |

If you click the drop-down arrow on the right-most edge of the command line toolbar you will get a popup menu. Select the "Add or Remove Buttons" option. This will display a list of all of the elements currently on the toolbar. The top-most item in this menu should say "Command Line". Make sure their is a checkbox next to this item. Select this menu item to toggle the command text box on and off.
When you turn the command line text box on, you might need to resize the window to force the command line to become visible.
If this doesn't work, then close CMUD and re-open it and when you select your session, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard when you click the Offline action and that will force the default toolbar and window layout to be restored to the session. |

That's the thing, when I did the "add or remove buttons" thing, the option to add or remove it wasn't even there. It just totally disappeared.
Anyway, the shift key worked like a charm. Thanks! |
