[1.30] Layout not saving

the layout i've set up in Cmud which has two additional windows from #capture, and the #status window moved, is not saved if I close cmud and start up the session it will not load up correctly, the capture windows will be at top and status window will be back in right side.

Seems to revolve around a crash i have when i close down session and cmud for that matter.

Use the #save command to force the layout to save before you close the session, and make sure you report those shut-down crash bugs.

I report them, doesn't work though, the crash seems to reset the setup and I have tried #save several times.

Is the *.XLY file for your session getting updated (check the modification date). That is the file CMUD tries to save your layout to. It should have the same name as your primary package file. Try deleting the XLY file to see if CMUD creates another one when it exits.

The error on exit could prevent CMUD from saving your layout, but the #SAVE command also forces the layout to be saved, so if you don't get an error with #SAVE, then your XLY file should be updated unless you are having some sort of weird file permission problem.
