how do you get rid of it, i accidently clicked on it now it loads everytime with that session and i cannot get it to turn off. and its slow as hell and slowing down the system.

You can probably just click the X and then save the layout. If that doesn't work, next time you open that character hold down the shift key while you click connect/offline. This forces CMud to ignore whatever layout it was looking for, and from there you either continue on with your play for a while or do the explicitly-saved layout process (haven't tried, so I dunno which one you can rely on).
