Problem with sound / #media stop

Am I doing this right?

#play filename starts the sound file fine.
#media stop does not stop it. Instead, I get a message box saying "Error parsing command: No MCI device open".

Version 1.26. Tried .mp3, .mid, .wav files. DirectX version 9.0c.

This works in zMud, and I can't find any differences in the documentation. Question
Thank you...

Looks like a bug to me - confirmed that none of the #media commands work.

This is correct. Since the switch to using DirectX, the #MEDIA command no longer works properly. The #MEDIA command only works when using the #PLAY command with your CD device name to control CD playing. This is on the list to fix in the future. For those interested in more low level details, zMUD used the Delphi TMediaPlayer component for playing sound, and the #MEDIA command controlled this component. But CMUD uses DirectX and not the MediaPlayer, so #MEDIA doesn't do anything. I need to rewrite #MEDIA to interact with DirectX.
