Help With a output anomaly. In Batmud

I am having dificulti with cmud. when i play batmud (bat.org) i keep getting and seeing the map distorted and missing pieces of its self when comparing to telnet outputs. i am including 2 referenses for the explenation 1 map command and the look witch is run each time i move. i am standing on a road squire like the one below shown in the map.

now i am including the same command as seen with cmud of the exact same location.

as you can see the map command executes correctly but the automatic loading of look gives such a distorted view of the surrounding as to make playin exterely difficult.

pleas look into this problem so others and my self can play better. i will be answering any question as soon as i can and you can post to me at mika@vakkilainen.net with direct question.

Type the command:

#DEBUG test.txt test.raw

when connected to the MUD and then do whatever MUD command is needed to display the map that you are talking about above. Then type:

#DEBUG

to close the files, and then exit CMUD and email the test.txt and test.raw files to support@zuggsoft.com (these files should be in your CMUD install directory). This will allow me to see exactly what the MUD is sending, including any control codes, and replay it locally to test it.

Also curious whether this problem also happens in zMUD, or just with CMUD. I also noticed that the MUD is sending a < character, so maybe the MXP/HTML parsing is getting confused. Try turning off the MXP/HTML option in the Emulation preferences page and see if that helps.

Thank you for your help. It seems it was the MXP/HTML parser that was doing the damage i turned it of and it works wonderfully.
thanks

Could you still send me the test.txt and test.raw files from the #DEBUG command as mentioned above? That will allow me to replay the output from the MUD and try to fix the MXP parser so that it doesn't mess this stuff up. Thanks.

I am sorry to say i cannot find a setting witch returns the error again. it look like a setting was written some where or corrected because i cannot undo the fix even with reinstallation.
