Button Layout (I'm not being smart)

I'm converting from ZMUD to CMUD, slowly, from scratch.

My ZMUD nonsense was just too cluttered.

So I just made a healthbar. It tracks all the information, right size etc.

It's flawless, except it's on the top panel. I can't figure out how to put it on the left panel. I can change the top/left values to move it around, but no matter what I do it's stuck to the top. I can't seem to find an equivalent to the top, left, right, bottom radio buttons in CMUD on the CMUD editor. Can somebody tell me where they are or where to look? I can post some screen shots if I need to.

Thanks a lot.

Open the settings editor
Click on your window with the button(s).
Click 'Preferences'
Select 'User Interface' on the left, and the "Buttons" tab at the top.
Here you can change where each toolbar (1, 2, 3, or 4) is displayed.
Besure to set your button to the correct toolbar.

Hope this helps.

In the preferences, you can set where each of the toolbars goes. Set one to be on the left.

I was thinking about this earlier actually. Why couldn't CMUD choose to have one bar on each side by default, and let the user change it if they want?

Agreed. Defaulting to one bar on each side would make a lot of sense. It caught me out until Zugg explained it, and then someone else til I explained it, now someone more until Fang explained it.

Two more questions:

Is there any way to reduce the flicker from when you mouse over buttons?

Is there a way to make something inset/explorer style (to get rid of the raised effect) but also not have the button/gauge raise up when my mouse hovers over it?

I need aesthetics, but I fidget so I like to plan for my mouse to be running all over everything Laughing

Thanks again!

I hate that raise up too, and I have never found a way to stop it...
Personally, I'm hoping that in a future version Zugg will give us more visual customization for our buttons. Crying or Very sad
