Double command line |
This is a wierd one.
Okay, i was playing around on GS4, thinks were going fine.
Then after i send in a command, my command line dissappears.
No worries, removing it and reapplying it to the window should work right?
Wrong.. when i put it back, all my buttons dissapear, and now i have two command tines, stacked vertically.
The upper command line is missing the trigger and parsing buttons, but is otherwwise complete.
I clicked on the child window and the buttons reappear, and back to main, they are still there, thankfully.
When i type both command lines fill up, but only one command is sent when i hit enter. But only the text in the upper one gets highlighted.
When i point the mouse at it it flickers back and forth from the pointer to the cursor placement icon and back (5-6 times a second or so).
If i switch windows (Alt Tab) to the forums and back, the buttons disappear again (they show bits of the forum), but the method above returns them. Even opening the settings editor will do this.
If i dont stay in this window for a long enough time (30+ sec?), the whole child window is hidden (i see the forum header), but clicking makes it appear.
If i right click on either of the command lines, it pops up the menu for it and promptly locks up the system. No errors thrown up, no CMUD crash thingy.
My only option here is to use system manager to close the process. After doing so, Microsoft pops up wanting its error report.
I let it happen again and after a 3-5 minute hang, its starts functioning again. |

OK, this is a really wierd one. What *exactly* did you do to "when I put it back"? Were you selecting the Command Line option in the right-click menu? or doing something else? As always, especially with really wierd bugs like this, I need to know exactly what you did.
Do you have any way to reproduce this behavior so that I can try it myself?
This kind of bug probably also highly depends upon exactly what other windows you have open and exactly how they are docked together. |

Yes the right click window menu to toggle the command line.
This is a recurring issue as well, since it happened is has not gone away for that particular session.
But it doesn't happen to any of my other sessions
It only has one child window, over the main window.
But no, i cant reproduce it, i cant even get it to go away, i could send you the package though. |
