need help parsing past control characters in triggers |
I feel this is a total nueb question but I can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.
#TRIGGER {[PARTY]} {#CAP chatter}
The '[' and ']' characters have a different meaning in CMUD and I can't get this trigger to respond. What is missing?
Thanks,

Escape them with ~:
#TRIGGER {~[PARTY~]} {#CAP chatter}
You can also use the "Verbatim" trigger option to prevent any parsing of the pattern. |
