[1.24] Disabling a module doesn't disable events in it

I created a simple module in a new package with a single event to add a time display after my prompt. I wanted to turn off the time display, so I switched to the package and unchecked the Enable option on the module. The time is still displayed.

I should also mention that the event didn't show up in the Package Editor, though it did fire. I created the package manually, closed the editor, and pasted the script into the command line. Opening the package editor, I couldn't find the event, but it was obviously firing properly. Maybe it wasn't disabled because it wasn't visible. Either way, this is a problem being reported. Thanks.
