unregistering a license |
Is there anyway to unlicense a copy of zmud if the computer is unable to connect to the internet? One of my older computers is still licensed, and I would like to unlicense that computer and install the license on a new computer. All 3 of my licenses are currently in use. The old computer does not have a wireless card to be able to connect to the internet and I don't plan to spend the money to upgrade the system. Thanks for any help. I can confirm my license number and real name to prove that my license is legal, if necessary. I have no idea what email address I used at the time I registered.

The latest version of zMUD (7.21) no longer uses the eLicense system, so there's nothing to prevent you from just uninstalling it on the old machine and installing on the new one after you've downloaded 7.21.
You will need to create a new account on the Zuggsoft store though. If you can't remember the email address you used before then I'd suggest mailing Chiara on support@zuggsoft.com with all the details you have, and she hopefully either be able to let you know which email address was originally used or update it to your new email address.
Wouldn't worry though, if you've got all the right details then you you'll have no problem, especially now that eLicense is no more. |

Thanks, Guinn. Got everything straight once I found out about the new licensing system. :)
