%zonename use and possible function request |
I have a number of zones, that have sub-zones (i.e. there are 5 continents in my mud, each of them may have a number of zones on them, so I have a zone for each continent, then a subzone for eace area) however the %zonename returns the lowest level zone name. Is there a predefined variable that will return a parent zone value? i.e. I have a zone called dakron bae which is in a zone called kazaren as kazaren is the continent and dakron bae is the city on that continent. I'd like to be able to get kazaren populated to a predefined variable. I'm thinkin I can manually define a variable with the parent zone name for a stringlist of the zone names however it seems as though using a predefined variable for this might make other's lives easier as well...

When I rewrite the mapper for CMUD later this year I will try to add something that returns the full zone path name.
