custom colours in cmud

I have a .col file which I've used for mudding for several years now. CMUD doesn't have an option to load these up, so far as I can tell.

Unfortunately, I can't manually change each colour, as I can't figure out the hex code for the custom colours I did.

Is there:
- Some way of loading up a .col file into cmud that i don't know about, or
- Some way of viewing the .col file to get the hex codes from it?

Ok, this is a very round about way of finding your custom colors.

Open the session that has the .col file loaded. Or create one and load the .col file.

Open preferences and click foreground mapping.

Click on each of your color squares, they are numbered so you can keep track.

Click define custom colors.

The custom color box opens up and it is displaying the coordinates of the color that was selected in the box.

Do this for background colors as well.

Here is a step by step walk through to find the coordinate of a default color.

Open zmud.

Hit escape.

Click prefs.

If it is not expanded click colors.

Click foreground colors.

Click on square 0.

Click define custom colors.

The color in the box, in this case black is highlighted and the coordinates are given.

Hue: 160
Sat: 0
Lum: 0
Red: 0
Green: 0
Blue: 0

Aren't colours also stored in your *.MUD files? So you can just create a session in zMUD, import the *.col file, close the session, copy the *.mud file over to CMUD and get CMUD to convert it. N.B. Completely untested - may not work at all!
