Actually, you can already do this.
1) Get a Coffee maker with an Internet connection
2) Use COM in CMUD to connect to the Coffee maker and use the #ALARM command to tell it when to turn on.
There...done.
Or, using the #URL command you could control any coffee maker anywhere in the world! |

There's even better news for "Suicide" drinkers (Suicide is the name in our neck of the woods that refers to mixing different flavors of soda, usually from a fountain machine). A company that deals with futuristic or scifi-based foodstuffs is currently developing a "programmable soda bottle" that allows you to choose which flavor(s) you want. |
