[1.22] Color Syntax?

From what I've tried to far, this isn't just an issue with 1.22, but also with previous versions. I've just not found too much of a problem with it to report it (go lazy me).

I pretty much literally copied my color syntax settings from zMUD to CMUD (manually, but still, the same settings). The only problem then is, that on CMUD, this just does absolutely NOTHING.

On zMUD, copying text from the output window and pasting it into the input bar would add the corresponding color codes as supplied through the color syntax dialog. CMUD just pastes the text, no color codes.

Is this a feature that's still "in translation" from zMUD to CMUD? I've tried searching the forums and changelog, but haven't been able to find much information about this at all.

It's possible that whatever syntax you're using isn't right in CMUD - run the compatability report and make sure. What exactly is the command or commands you're trying to run?

I'm not sure what you mean about copying colour codes onto the CMUD command line. With the %ansi function, or what?

CMUD doesn't have the command line color conversion feature yet. Pasting text into the command line will not add the color codes yet. It's one of those obscure zMUD features that few people use, so it wasn't big enough to get added to the Future features list, sorry.

You should probably remove the Color Syntax tab then.

* EDIT: Unless it does everything else it is supposed to do besides the command line paste bit. *
