The 1.23 RC3 version of CMUD has been released. Please consult the Version History for details on changes.

As you can see from the Version History I've changed a few too many things to call this a Public Release. But you'll notice that I've removed the "Beta" tag and have just called this "Release Candidate 3".

What this means is that this version should be very close to the public version. I will fix anything really critical in this version (especially any new bugs that might have been introduced). I have also tried to remove all of the "beta" flags, so let me know if you see it saying beta anywhere in v1.23.

Another side effect of this is that the 30-day trial has been reset. I plan to release the Public Version on Thursday, so test v1.23 as much as you can for any serious problems.

To ensure that everyone knows that you are using the latest version, please put the version number at the beginning of your form post, like this: [1.23] Problem...

Also, when using the Send crash dump system within CMUD, be sure to fill in the Comments section to describe what you were doing when you got the crash. The crashes are getting more and more obscure and harder to track down, and I'm receiving a lot of crash dumps with no information that I am forced to ignore. Please enter these comments when reporting a bug or you are just wasting your time and mine.

Remember to start a new Forum Topic for each new bug report, and to be as specific as you can when reporting bugs. The bugs are starting to get more and more obscure, which makes reproducing them harder and harder.

Awww, shame it didn't make Public, would have been a nice number for it. 123 it's easy as ABC-MUD.
