[1.19] Autolog |
I just installed 1.19 fresh, and picked my mud (Foxmud) from the mudconnector list, clicked save session to my muds, then double clicked on foxmud to open the connection. The login screen came up, and prompted me for my username, then password and I got in. I thought that with a fresh install the autolog feature would prompt me to setup an autolog script but it didnt???
OK i just closed CMUD and opened it again, clicked on what is now a foxmud session icon (as I created it last time) and started logging in... this time the auto-login wizard did open up.... Is this a bug that it is not opening up on the first try for some reason, or does it need you to log in two times in a row to pick out the login text to set up the wizard...? |

This is actually the same as in zMUD. The Autologin wizard only runs the SECOND time you connect. The reason for this is that the first time you connect to a new MUD, you are often creating a new character, and the login prompts for creating a new character and logging into an existing character are often different. So, that's why it does that. Not a bug...a feature :)
