[1.06-1.19] Look & feel - Shortcut keys |
Editted from original 1.06 post - CMUD is so much more usable than it was is 1.06, so kudos already.
Some of the standard windows keyboard shortcuts, accelerators, mnemonics aren't implemented yet. Things like being able to get to the file menu using Alt-F when you're inside the Settings Editor.
Also, if you're navigating through the class tree then up/down arrows work, and right/left will expand/collapse a branch, but if you're already on a collapsed brance then pressing left should move you to the parent folder. Similarly, if pressing right once expands a branch, then right twice should expand then move to the first item in the branch.
Not sure if that makes sense, but try pressing left/right twice on the Windows Explorer tree structure to see what I mean.
Minor stuff I know, but just something to keep things consistent between Windows and CMUD. |

The menu shortcuts in the settings editor are already fixed for v1.07. For the tree stuff, I won't be able to do this easily since it requires changes to a 3rd party component. But use the Send Feedback option to send this so that it gets into my issue tracking system and I'll keep it in mind for the future.

I never did send this as feedback, so finally got around to it and bumping the topic incase it's anything that might have become easier to fix since 1.06.

I don't plan to mess with this until later. It required changing the Developer Express code for the treeview control. And I'll be messing with the tree view a lot later when I get rid of the database connection to it.
