[Question - not bug] Databse over Variables |
I was wondering is there an advantage or a speed difference in using a database to store data over a variable? apart fom the obvious easier sorting of data
Thanks |

the database i use to store information takes about 5-6 seconds to query and add new information(so slow i stopped using it) it's about 3000 records in size when i stopped using it, so i would suggest going with a variable although at around 3000 keys in a variable i don't know how fast that would be either.

I've not managed to get everything ported over to Cmud yet, but my experience with Zmud was that Databases were faster, if you weren't needing to constently switch between multiple databases.

Also, keep in mind that the database module is not a true database. It doesn't have indexes or anything like that. When the database module is rewritten next year to use a real SQL database format, then you will see some pretty huge performance improvements in the database. So that's something to look forward to.
