Logitech G11/G15

Will the G-keys on this keyboard work in zmud? I see alot of potential from this type of keyboard where actions are illegal and many macros are needed. No more Ctrl+Alt+NumPad4 for Unlocking Exit West. =)

It will work in a round about way.

You still need to have the Ctrl+Alt+NumPad4 macro, you just assign that series of keystrokes to one of the extra keys using the software that comes with the G15 keyboard.

Can I bind Ctrl+Alt as a macro, and then use Numpad4 for west?

That's exactly not what I want to do. =)

I have a very nice Logitech OEM UltraX Media Keyboard but I'm very tempted to buy a G11 for the extended G-keys. But if they aren't working with zmud it is of no use at all for me. That's the reason I'm asking.

the buttons work fine, no they dont have seperate key markups so that a macro can just be G1, but you can set G1 to be any key combination, saving you keystrokes by turning a complicated macro into one keypress.

Not only that but each of the 18 G keys has three different button states, plenty of room to work with.

Personally i dont see the point of making one of them just Ctrl + Alt, because that only saves one keystroke, but in theory it could be done, you would have to make sure to remove the key releases though so they will stay held down for as long as you hold the G# key down.
