[1.15] Display "corruption" around input bar |
Just noticed this ...
When I alt-tab from another window (like Mozilla Firefox), I sometimes see parts of the text from that window appear in the grey area around the input bar.
It doesn't happen every time, just often enough for me to notice it.
EDIT: Also just noticed that it's not just text, images (and parts of them) also "copy" to the area around the input bar. |

Righto .. hadn't looked back that far .. it's indeed a rather low priority issue .. just a simple display problem ..
I'm ok with closing this thread to prevent further confusion :) |

I can confirm this little bug too. It's not important, but it can be distracting.

Sometimes this can also be the result of a bad *.TBZ toolbar file, or a bad *.XLY layout file. So if you were using previous beta versions of CMUD, it's worth reinstalling and creating fresh packages to see if this problem still happens. I still see it on rare occasions, but most of the time it seems to work fine now.

I guess maybe it matters exactly where the window is in-relation to the Firefox window. I'm typing in Firefox right now and can Alt-tab between this and CMUD and the command line looks fine.
Did you delete the entire CMUD directory when you reinstalled 1.15? I remember when I worked on this bug that it was actually related to having the toolbar docked to the wrong parent that could cause it to not refresh properly.
So maybe this is a new problem that is somehow system dependant or video card dependant or something. |
