[1.13] Suggestions: Package Saving, Command Line Default |
I like to save my settings often, foreboding client/computer crashes.
Could you make a quicker keyboard shortcut for saving one's package? As far as I can tell atm, one has to hit alt, f, s, enter, enter, (select package to save as if it's not selected), enter... or hit alt, v, enter, ctrl+s, escape.
And even then, the keyboard is not automatically pointed back at the Command Line (and this seems to happen often coming back from other shortcuts as well). Could you also make the Command Line of the main window the default place to land? |

You don't need this. Packages are saved automatically in the background all the time. You can use the #SAVE command to save it to a different filename, and you can certainly assign this to any key that you want via a macro.
But like I said, unlike zMUD, you don't need to do this in CMUD.
The Alt-F Save Session command is for saving a copy of your session (creating a new session icon). You shouldn't be using that all the time, and it doesn't save your packages, it just makes a new session icon. |
