[1.13] Simutronics Games (DR) - Auto Disconnect |
Im trying to connect to DragonRealms.
I have the Host set to EACCESS.PLAY.NET|DR and the port at 7900.
I login fine and get my character list up. I choose the character, and press play. At this point i get the disconnected sound, however the game connects as norma and i can perform actions.
About 5-10 secs later, the character select screen pops up again. Choosing cancel here disconnects me (as it gets a new key from the server) and selecting the character again either reconnects (for 5-10 secs and cycles) or just fails to even connect.
Thanks
Morgal
P.S. This is the first time ive used cMUD, (although i have used zMUD lots before (about 3 years ago)), so i cant confirm whether this is a new issue in the newly released 1.13 or whether it was present in earlier releases. |

I can connect just fine, so it was probably just router issues.

Actually it could be a problem with your settings. I had similar issues with early versions of CMUD. I reported it, sent Zugg my mud file and it was cured. Try disabling your triggers (click the Pistol icon) and try connecting again. If it works, you have a settings problem (which could be a CMUD problem).

Thanks for the replies.
With regards to settings issues, all I have done is a fresh install, created the session and then tried to connect. So if it is a settings issue then it will come installed that way.
Ill try again, and post to let you know the results.

Ok, a fresh install works fine on my work machine, so it could well be a router problem at home.
Thanks again
