I'd first like to apologies ahead of time in case I put this in the wrong spot. But I didn't see any other place it fit into... so I hope this is the right one.

Ok, someone gave me this file. It's for the Zmud mapper. Lots and lots of usful things. I'm not a good explorer at all and I really need it to get better. Here is the problem I have encountered in trying to use it.

When I go and click on the Map Button (located betwee Prefs and DB right near the top) an error window pops up. The title of the window says Error initializing database engine. Inside the window it says Your computer does not have the needed system files to run this software. Microsoft MDAC and JET database drivers are required for this software. To udate your computer with the necessary files, go to: http://www.zuggsoft.com/data.
Two buttons to choose from on the window, one is Exit and the other is Go to website. Clicking either one makes another much small window pop up and all it says is Class not registered and the Ok button. After clicking that there's nothing.

So, I go to that website, look for the Windows XP stuffs, download MDAC_TYP.exe like the site says. And I download Jet40SP8_WXP.exe. I run MDAC_TYP and it works and I reboot. Then go to install the Jet one and I get an error message that says KB829558 Setup error: Setup has deteced that the Service Pack version of this system is newer than the udate you are applying. There is no need to install this update. Which obviously means I already have that. So I back to zmud and I still get the same windows that I got before.

The only thing I could think of was that it was the version of Zmud I have, 7.13, because my friend has 7.21. But he installed 7.13 and ran the mapper thing just fine. So I would assume that version has no relevancy. I'm just getting really frustrated because I really need to use this map. If anyone knows anything that would help me out, I would really appreciate it.

When I put this on another forum i got this reply "First buy a legit copy of zMUD." Well, I do have a legit copy, my friend put one of his codes on my comp so he can use it when he comes over.

a little mistake made "The only thing I could think of was that it was the version of Zmud I have, 7.13, because my friend has 7.21."
I actually do have 7.21 now that my friend has put his code thing on my comp.
