The 1.12 BETA version of CMUD has been released. Please consult the Version History for details on changes.

This version has the redesigned settings editor. The settings editor and fly-out settings windows no longer slow down CMUD. This is about a factor of 40 speed improvement to scripts running with these windows open.

This redesign was huge and required some major architecture changes. Thus, it's very possible that some parts of the settings editor don't work properly or that there are new bugs and crashes. Please report any crash dumps using the automatted system and I'll try to fix them as soon as I can.

There are still several problems with creating/editing multi-state buttons. I've started on improving the user interface for this, but haven't finished yet. It should still work a bit better than in previous versions.

It's very important to start making sure that CMUD can load existing zMUD *.MUD files. So if you have a *.MUD file that doesn't load into CMUD, please send it to me. I'm not talking about all of your scripts magically working...I'm just talking about the *.MUD file converting and loading without crashing.

Also, when using the Send crash dump system within CMUD, be sure to fill in the Comments section to describe what you were doing when you got the crash. The crashes are getting more and more obscure and harder to track down, and I'm receiving a lot of crash dumps with no information that I am forced to ignore. Please enter these comments when reporting a bug or you are just wasting your time and mine.

Remember to start a new Forum Topic for each new bug report, and to be as specific as you can when reporting bugs. The bugs are starting to get more and more obscure, which makes reproducing them harder and harder.
