[1.10] SAFE walking causes a bug on movement.

As mentioned in the "[1.09] Speedwaling. Is it broken or am i doing it wrong?" thread, I've been receiving errors in CMud trying to move with the mapper configured.

The settings seem identical to what I have in zMud. It's configured to grab the room name and exits, but not the description. Since it's in SAFE mode, it needs to confirm the target room before updating the mapper. It seems very slow moving one tile, grabbing the room name and hanging for a second or two, before giving back an error, then finally displaying room description/exits. The mapper -does- move with it as well at that point.

Any idea what could be causing this? I'm led to believe the mapper is the same module, so is it perhaps with the way the name/description is grabbed from the mud, or perhaps control characters handled differently? Also does anyone else find this, because it could be just me :P

I haven't seen any problems with it myself, although I don't use safe mode much.

The mapper *is* identical to zMUD, except for the zone selection box (which was a minor change). But the way it captures text from the MUD and sends it to the mapper is the same. And if there is a problem with the mapper interfacing with the newer database code in CMUD, this probably won't get fixed until next year when I work on the mapper to convert it from MDAC to SQL.
