[1.10] Multiple connections to same Session |
I noticed this way back in 1.03, and its probably been mentioned on numerous occasions, but if its not.... I cant connect more than once to a session. Ie i connect to a mud, and to make another connection to the MUD, cMUD closes the link of the first connection to make the new one? Like i said this has probably been reported lots of time....
Other than that, this version of CMUD seems pretty ok to me, not noticed any of the old display problems the previous versions had... course ive only just downloaded it :P

If you want to play the same mud on two different chars here are two different things to try.
First, like Zugg mentioned make a new session for the second/third/fourth char you want to be running at the same time.
Then, import the packages from the original session you tried to multi connect to.
Viola, you have a second login to the same mud.
The other way...
First, make another window in the session you want multiples of.
Then, Import the packages you have in your other window into the new one.
Next, Set both windows to use the main network connection.
Finally, click on the window tab of the char you want to connect to the mud, click file, click connect.
Viola again, you have a second login to the same mud.
Screen real-estate with all of these open sessions is now your problem. |
