Define Status bar

I would like to know how to set up a Define status bar line like per se:
archangel =>archangel12345
I forgot how to set that up. So that each time that I may get a different angel with a set of numbers, I can easily just do something like "a archangel23421"
then it'll set to
archangel =>archangel23421
do I need to do something in the alias and variables? |
