[1.09] Packages enabled for a window. |
Disclaimer, I could just have the completely wrong idea of how this is intended to function.
- I open a new session of any mud.
- I go into the settings editor and select File>New Package.
- I then create a new package, and add a basic testing alias to the newly created package and save.
- I next select the tab in the settings editor for the mud window, and - ensure that the newly created package is enabled for the window.
- Then I attempt to execute the alias from the command line and get nothing. No settings from the newly created package will fire in the window.
As a test, I used all of the numeric keypad direction macros, then went into the settings editor, to the window and unchecked the "English direction pad" package from the packages enabled from the window. The numeric keypad direction macros no longer functioned. So that default package I am able to enable and disable for the window - just not any new package that I create.
As a work around, yes I am able to drag the new package into the Window making it a child setting of the window. However I wanted to keep it seperate and still functioning - like the English direction pad package. |

When you create the new package and add the alias to the default module for the package, click on the module name and make sure the "Published" flag is set. Only modules with the Published flag can be seen by other packages (like your main session).
