CMUD 1.06 BETA Released! |
The 1.06 BETA version of CMUD has been released. Please consult the Version History for details on changes. I think you'll understand what took so long when you see how many fixes there are in the version history.
I have gone through both the forums and my automatted crash dumps and tried to address as many problems as possible. There are still some obscure bugs that I haven't fixed yet, and I'm sure with all of these changes that there are lots of new bugs.
But I spent quite a while testing various things today, so I think it should work a lot better than the previous beta versions.
Please be sure to send in all crashes that you get. It's important for me to see crash dumps even if they are something you already reported in previous versions. If you sent Feedback (vs the Send Feedback) then I still have that, but it doesn't hurt to remind me of any critical issue that you think needs to be fixed.
This version is mostly bug fixes. The items on the "What's missing from CMUD" still apply. So please don't bother reporting a bug or sending feedback on a known issue in that list. I will be updating that list later this week with more information on the schedule for various feature additions.
Remember to start a new Forum Topic for each new bug report, and to be as specific as you can when reporting bugs. The bugs are starting to get more and more obscure, which makes reproducing them harder and harder.
Thanks for all of your help during the beta testing. The bug reports and crash dumps that you have sent have been extremely helpful in fixing many bugs. I hope everyone likes the progress with 1.06. |

Just a reminder:
As always, before trying a new version (especially for Beta versions, but I think it's a good idea in any case), BACKUP your settings.
Also, remember to put the version number (e.g. [1.06]) in the subject of any posts to the forum concerning bugs / problems.
Thanks, Zugg.
