[1.05] Package Library / Right Click Menu |
Hmm since modules and windows are now defined i dont see options for publishing things to the library anymore? So i assuming you have to redo some of the library definitions to know to use modules?
Also right click shows ONLY PACKAGE |

Go to the Edit menu and select "Package Properties" and then you'll see the buttons for publishing to the library.
That right-click option seems left over from before the changes. |

No. The Package Library is still for *packages*. A "package" is a collection of modules and windows. You can certainly just make a package that contains only one module, but now you have more flexibility.
Think of it this way: A Package is the same as the *.PKG database file and the same as what is stored in the Shared Package Library. Think of Modules/Windows like special "class folders" within the package.
This takes some getting used to...I know. In zMUD, a *.MUD file and a Window were the same thing. One window per file. One file per window. CMUD changes this and allows multiple modules and/or windows within a single package file.
There are definitely some places where the terminology isn't corrected yet. And I admit that I didn't mess with the Package Library yet, so it's possible it doesn't quite support these new concepts yet. |

rofl new packages wasnt an option under new so i was trying to figure that one out.. I thought thats what packages were.
I will look again in a bit im extremely tired (so i might just be having a brainless moment) trying to redo some of these scripts to test out things that werent working before. I can give you the feedback that so far some of my more complex scripts have taken affect and begun working even if not ideally. Its progress :) and good progress at that. |
