Feature Request: MXP and Child Triggers |
As of right now, all of my prompt triggers are associated with a 'Prompt' MXP flag, meaning the text of the trigger is simply 'Prompt' and are flagged as type: MXP.
What I want to do is fire off an MXP flagged prompt trigger as the child of another trigger, specifically by using the trigger conditional type 'Within'. That is, if the prompt falls within 3 lines of the first trigger, do the associated actions linked to the child.
As far as I can tell, there isn't a supported way to do this in CMud. A trigger, even a child trigger, is either type MXP or type Within. Is this something you'd be willing to look at before the public release? |

Would it be possible to eventually make the MXP check superficially look like the Regex check? A simple toggle on the settings window that tells CMud what it's looking for, but doesn't exclusively take up the trigger type would be everything I need.
I'm sure it's far down on the list of things you'd consider coding, since it's far from important at this stage of software development; but knowing one way or another would let me know if I need to rewrite my future settings logic map to find another way to deal with the MXP prompts. |
