Old style zMud interface with newer zMud possible?

I'm looking for Old style zmud behaviour, as per the mid 90s free 16-bits version (and I think this existed at least up til version 4). Perhaps some of these things are achieveable by settings, though if so, I've not been able to find them. I'd appreciate any input on how I can achieve the things listed below. Also, if it's not possible to get that from zMud 7.62, info on wether it will be possible in the upcoming CMud would be nice.

The reason I don't simply want to resolve this issue by using an old version is that there are a lot of other nice things that have been added since the earlier versions.

Command line:
- While it's possible to uncheck "attached command line", the shared command line does not always get focus when focus is returned to the main window of the zmud client such as after having the "trigger window" active. I want focus to allways be set to the command line, unless I actually activate a menu with the ALT key or left mouse button.
- If I manually send any command at all to the mud, including by macro, I want the command bar to select all text instead of leaving it unselected.
- After I send a command from the command line, I want to be able to use CTRL-VK_LEFT to jump one word left in the string left in the command line. As it is now I have to use VK_END or some such first. In other words, while I do want all the text to be selected, I still want the caret to be at the end of the line.

Character windows:
When having more than one character window open I prefer to sort them so caster class characters are stacked on top of each other on the bottom half of the screen and non-caster class characters are stacked on top of each other on the top half of the screen.
- I don't want the tabs with the sessionID showing which character windows are stacked.
- I do want to be able to doubleclick a character window title bar to maximize it, as well as revert it back to the non maximized size and placement. Or if there's any other way to do this that would do as well.
- I do want the, in Windows, normally existing Menu option &Window|&Tile so that I can just hit ALT-W followed by T to tile them (as described above. I believe vertically is the term used in zMud now).
- I don't want zMud to screw around with my tiling. For example, if I have 3 characters loaded, 2 on bottom half, 1 on top half of the screen and log off the top half character, I don't want to expand the other windows to occupy the whole screen as I might want to open another character's window which is supposed to go on the top half.
- I do want zMud to remember windows' placements and sizes so that if a window was occupying bottom half of the screen last time, it will do so automatically when I next open that window again.

Main client window:
- I'd like this to behave as any other "normal" window, that is, not just be a menu and toolbar, but rather have that solid thing behind it preventing me from activating another window which is "behind" zMud
